Vodafone gained 216,000 TV subscribers in Spain in 2015 and ended the year with a total of one million.
The company says that the past year was a crucial one for the evolution of Vodafone TV. Following the integration of Ono, the company launched Vodafone One in April. A comprehensive convergent offer – the most comprehensive one on the market, according to the company – it includes fiber, 4G and smart TV with Vodafone TV, along with a number of additional features including seven-day catch-up, introduced last September.
Other landmarks included the addition of the channels Abuno Fútbol, Abuna Fútbol and BeinSports to its on demand offer, which already included over 3,000 titles, in August and the integration of Netflix into Vodafone TV two months later.
All Vodafone TV customers also have free access to the multiscreen service Vodafone TV Online.
