The privatisation of the Serbian incumbent Telekom Srbija appears to be entering its final phase.
Quoted by Mondo, Zeljko Seritic, the country’s economy minister, said that a final list of bidders would be prepared by this Friday (December 4).
An analysis would then be done over the next 10-15 days, after which the picture would be clearer. The public would also be informed about everything.
Revised offers from all six bidders for Telekom Srbija were received after a request from the Serbian government. Its aim was to increase competition among the bidders.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, the US investment fund Colbeck Capital submitted the highest initial bid for a 58% stake in Telekom Srbija.
