Sky Deutschland to introduce new subscription package

Sky Entertainment PaketGerman pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland will offer a new subscription package focusing on series and entertainment from November 2015.

Sky Entertainment will cost €21.99 per month and contain channels like Fox HD, Syfy HD, 13th Street HD, RTL Crime HD and TNT Serie HD.

The new package which will available via cable, satellite and IPTV in Germany and Austria will be introduced as an alternative basic package to the former Sky Welt package which will be renamed Sky Starter package.

The customers have the option to sign up for premium packages Sky Cinema (formerly Sky Film), Sky Sport and Sky Fußball-Bundesliga.

Also new: Sky Deutschland will rename its on-demand service Sky Anytime into Sky On Demand and expand its offering.
