Motorvision TV launches in Serbia and Taiwan

Motorvision TVMotorvision TV, the German pay-TV channel for car and motor sports fans, continues its international expansion with launches in Serbia and Taiwan.

In Taiwan, Chunghwa Telecom offers Motorvision TV on its multimedia on-demand platform MOD. The channel is part of the second-largest package reaching more than 300.000 subscribers.

In Serbia, Motorvision TV has signed a distribution agreement with Telekom Srbija.

Motorvision TV has also extended its reach in existing markets. In France, the channel is now available through Free in addition to Orange. Free offers Motorvision TV in HD quality for €0.99 per month.

In Slovenia, Motorsport TV has renewed its contract with Telekom Slovenije and is part of the Mega HD package. As of July 2, 2015 CATV Selnica has become the channel’s second partner in the country, offering it on the KRS service.

In Cyprus the channel is already being broadcast on Primetel in English with Greek subtitles. Additionally, since July 2015, Motorvision TV can be received in HD quality on Cablenet Communication.

Motorvision TV has also renewed its existing partnership in Romania. It continues to be broadcast over Orange TV.

In total, Motorvision TV now reaches more than 9 million subscribers in 26 countries on four continents. In its home country Germany, the channel is exclusively available on pay-TV platform Sky Deutschland.

The distribution deals with Telekom Srbija, Cablenet Communication in Cyprus and Orange TV in Romania were negotiated by James Wells (US Media) while the partnership with Free in France was negotiated by James Wells and Nicolas Gorse.

3Vision Distribution arranged the cooperation in Slovenia with Telekom Slovenije and CATV Selnica (KRS). The partnership with Chunghwa Telecom in Taiwan was negotiated by Multi Channels Asia (MCA).
