VOD services company Vonetize will launch its Bollywood HD Movie Channel featured on EE TV.
According to a recent report issued by a MediaBug analyst, 30% of UK consumers utilize a subscription-based VOD service each month. This is demonstrative of a global trend that has seen an increasing amount of cable subscribers migrate to specialized OTT or VOD internet-based streaming content services. An early innovator of VOD offerings worldwide, Vonetize features a trove of channels which reach millions of global viewers and have appeal for varying regions and preferences, including Bollywood films, telenovelas, music, children’s content, and more.
“We are thrilled to work with a well-known European telecom like EE, which boasts top figures in UK carrier penetration,” commented Vonetize CEO Noam Josephides.
“Vonetize is a technology company committed to making great video content accessible through smart devices in global markets, and working with EE positions us to enable more UK consumers to watch the highest quality content.”
Vonetize’s Bollywood HD Movie channel will be displayed on the main page of EE’s TV hub. It will also be distinguished with specialized labelling for the new offered channel. The move represents another step in Vonetize’s continued strategic expansion into new international mobile and smart TV markets, with recent deals signed with companies like Samsung, LG, Toshiba, and Hisense.
