Axel Gundolf has assumed the position of channel director of National Geographic Channels Germany, Austria and Switzerland with immediate effect.
The 36-year old will be responsible for the programme selection, programme planning and strategic positioning of documentary channels National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild and Nat Geo People.
Gundolf reports directly to Marco de Ruiter, managing director of parent company Fox International Channels Germany. Following several positions at Disney in London, Gundolf most recently worked as head of primetime for German children’s and family channel Super RTL in Cologne.
