Dutch cable operator Ziggo has dropped three channels from NBCUniversal, 13TH Street, Syfy and E! Entertainment.
However, the three channels remain available in the former Ziggo footprint of the operator; the move is a result of a failure to reach agreement between Ziggo and NBCUniversal over the conditions of carriage.
Because the contract between the old Ziggo and the broadcaster is still running, viewers in the old Ziggo areas can continue to see the three channels.
Meanwhile, a number of other platforms, including KPN, Vodafone, Online.nl and Canal Digitaal Satelliet, also continue to distribute the channels to their viewers.
