Spain’s Vocento group is the latest company to confirm that it will take part in a tender for at least one of six new DTT channels.
According to El Economista, it is the seventh group to have thrown its hat into the ring.
Luis Enriquez, its CEO, said that a bid would be lodged through Net TV and added that the group would not remain passive in the face of serious consequences brought about by government errors.
Enriquez was referring to nine channels that were closed by court order in May 2014, with the future of eight, including one operated by the Vocento group, now to be decided by a Supreme Court to be delivered on June 23.
