Having established itself at Olympia, TV Connect is this year heading across town to the London Exhibition and Convention Centre, better known as ExCel (April 28 to 30).
The 100-acre site in the northern quay of the Royal Victoria Dock first opened in 2000. A second phase was opened in May 2010.
Some of Britain’s most popular shows have been hosted at ExCel including the British International Motor Show, Grand Designs Live and Miss World.
The proximity and easy access to the River Thames means that for events such as the London Boat Show, the latest craft can pull up alongside, or older models like HMS Sutherland!
The Jubilee Line is recommended as the quickest route to ExCeL with Custom House the nearest stop to ExCeL (West) or Prince Regent for ExCeL (East) and ICC London.
The site also boasts onsite parking for 3,700, plus an onsite station for the Emirates airline cable car – linking the Thames clipper River Services and the London Underground.
