Dutch cable operator UPC and NBC Universal are still in talks about carriage of 13th Street, Syfy and E!Entertainment.
The decision by the operator to drop the three channels has led to a flood of protest over social media and, according to NBC Universal in a statement to the Totaal TV website, talks between the two parties are still ongoing.
UPC said that the channels will stop to be distributed on June 1.
Meanwhile, 13th Street, Syfy and E!Entertainment will continue to be available after June 1 on the Ziggo part of the combined UPC/Ziggo (‘New Ziggo’) network, as the contract has a different timeline.
