Xstream appoints Jan Bertil Dahms

Jan_DahmsXstream has appointed Jan Bertil Dahms, formerly of thePlatform, as its new global Chief Sales Officer.

Jan Bertil comes to Xstream with 20 years experience and an extensive background in the enterprise software, SaaS, digital media, TV Everywhere and broadcast space. Most recently, Jan Bertil was Sales Director EMEA at thePlatform where he was responsible for expanding business and revenues in Europe. He has also held sales positions at Brightcove and eTracker.

Jan’s strong experience in the internet TV industry, broad international experience as well as his in-depth understanding of international markets, industry trends and dynamics, will strengthen our sales team and enable us to respond to the increasing demand for our services globally. I look forward to work with Jan- and with our entire management team as we continue to execute our global growth strategy,” said Frank Thorup, founder and CEO at Xstream.

Jan will be based at Xstream’s headquarter in Copenhagen, Denmark and will work close with the senior executive on the global growth strategy to set a footprint across all continents and be the leading supplier of OTT and TV Everywhere services to telcos, cable operators, broadcasters/networks and studios. Jan joins Xstream on February 1st 2015.
