Discovery Life will become available for the first time outside the US when it makes its debut in Poland on February 1.
According to local reports, it will replace Animal Planet, while Animal Planet HD will continue to be available to viewers.
Discovery Life will be distributed by cable and satellite, reaching 55.5% of homes in Poland.
The channel will be part of the Discovery Networks Central & Eastern Europe (CEEMEA) portfolio.
