Canadian music service provider Stingray has launched music channel Stingray Lite TV on M7 Deutschland’s KabelKiosk platform on December 1, 2014.
Through the carriage agreement, the pay-TV channel reaches around 270 cable and IPTV operators in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein.
Stingray Lite TV screens hit music from the 1980’s until today 24 hours per day – without commercials or other interruptions. Besides international artists like Madonna, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, Rihanna and Phil Collins, a strong focus is also on German-language pop and rock music, for example from Herbert Grönemeyer, Juli and Tim Bendzko.
The Lite TV channel was originally developed by the Archibald Media Group of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and was acquired by Stingray Digital in June this year.
The subscribers of KabelKiosk’s Family HD package receive Stingray Lite TV without additional costs.
The Stingray group operates music services like Music Choice, The Karaoke Channel and Concert TV reaching a total of more than 180 million people in 113 countries.
