The Slovak national commercial broadcaster TV Joj is planning a major HD push in 2015.
According to Zive, it will result in its content being produced solely in the format, starting with news transmissions at the beginning of this year.
Joj already produces programming for external companies in HD.
Joj is also in negotiations to secure satellite distribution for Joj HD, the service already being available on cable and IPTV.
It is understood that Joj HD and Plus HD will be added to Skylink’s line-up shortly.
In addition, Joj is monitoring developments in HbbTV but says it is not currently on its agenda.
