RT will launch a channel specifically aimed at viewers in the UK on Thursday, October 30.
Known as RT UK, it will air both live and pre-recorded originally programming and reach over 90% of homes in the country via Freeview and Sky.
RT UK will be a 24/7 channel and initially broadcast five hours of dedicated UK programming each day including live new, documentaries and chat shows.
It will be supplemeted by content supplied by other RT channels, including the flagship RT International.
RT was launched in December 2005 and currently broadcasts in English, Spanish and Arabic.
Meanwhile, RT UK’s sister channel, RT America, broadcasts from a Washington, DC studio and the network also houses documentary channel RTDoc – broadcasting in English and Russian.
RT reaches over 700 million people in over 100 countries.
