Discovery Communications Deutschland can broadcast its women’s channel TLC instead of men’s channel DMAX via DTT in Munich from January 1, 2015.
Bavarian media authority BLM approved the proposed changeover at its latest assembly in Munich. The DTT permission which covers a slot on the multiplex of DTT channel K34 runs until December 31, 2015.
It remains, however, open whether Discovery will actually perform the change. The broadcaster just wanted to gain green light from BLM in advance if it decides to do so, according to a spokesman.
