Arnd Benninghoff and Rikard Steiber
ProSiebenSat.1 Media’s chief digital officer, Arnd Benninghoff, is joining MTGx as deputy CEO and CEO MTGx Ventures
The Modern Times Group division, which has 200 full-time employees, brings together Viaplay, Play and Ventures. Benninghoff will manage a portfolio of new businesses with a brief to explore transactional services including music and gaming. He will also be involved in growing MTGx’s video centric businesses on YouTube.

Benninghoff has been chief digital officer for digital & adjacent at ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG. At ProSieben, Benninghoff has been responsible for the development of the digital business, focusing on strategic growth topics with a particular focus on video, mobile, and gaming. He is also a former MD of Seven Ventures, the Venture arm of the Group.
His start date is November 1.
