The Polish media group Agora has established a company named TV Zone that will be responsible for expanding its TV activities.
Quoted by Press.pl, the group’s spokesperson Agata Staniszewska said it is open to the idea of both launching more channels or acquisitions.
She added that Agora had taken its first steps in the TV sector in March this year by acquiring a 41% stake in Stopklatka from Kino Polska TV.
It also operates a channel named Tuba.tv, which is available online but not on satellite, for it was awarded a licence.
Agora’s main interests currently lie in in newspapers, magazines, the internet, cinema, outdoor and radio.
