FOX International Channels (FIC) has appointment Caleb Weinstein executive VP of affiliate distribution, Europe and Africa.
Based in London and reporting to Jan Koeppen, FIC president of Europe and Africa, he will oversee the European and African distribution of FIC’s bouquet of channels including FOX, FOX Sports, FOXLife and National Geographic Channel.
Weinstein was previously head of global partnerships for Amazon Instant Video as well as senior VP and general manager of distribution for Discovery Networks EMEA. In addition, he has held prominent positions with MTV Networks and New Line Cinema.
Commenting on the appointment, Koeppen said: “As the largest international pay-TV channel business, FIC offers an incredible breadth of programming across major genres. Caleb’s well-honed knowledge will play a key role in ensuring this content reaches the widest audience possible through our partnerships with platforms.”
