The Czech national commercial broadcaster FTV Prima, which is backed by the Modern Times Group (MTG), has posted its highest ever profit.
Quoting financial statements published by the Commercial Register, Digizone reports that the company had record sales of CZK2.9 billion (€104.5 million) and a net profit of CZK441 million in 2013, with the latter figure being 10.5% more than in the previous year.
FTV Prima operates the channels Prima, Prima Cool, Prima Love and Prima Zoom, along with several web portals.
Its main competitor is CME-backed TV Nova.
