A+E Networks channels make TalkTalk debut

August 19, 2014 10.07 Europe/London By Julian Clover

A+E NetworksA+E Networks UK brands History, Lifetime, Crime + Investigation and H2  are to make their debut on the TalkTalk TV platform later this month.

History and Crime + Investigation will be available on TalkTalk’s Entertainment Extra Boost package; while Lifetime and H2 will be available on both the Entertainment and Entertainment Extra Boost packages.*

Bakori Davis, VP of Commercial Operations, A+E Networks UK, said: “We are very pleased to announce this partnership, which offers a significant opportunity for us to expand the reach of our leading factual and entertainment channels across the UK and Ireland. We’re confident that the exciting content across our portfolio will really appeal to TalkTalk’s customers.’’

The channels will make their debut in an open weekend on August 30 and 31.

Henrik Karlberg, Head of TV at TalkTalk said: “As Britain’s fastest growing TV service, it’s fantastic to be offering our ever-increasing base of TV customers more of the content they love. Our TV packages are getting richer and we’re providing even more value to our customers. This deal is yet another example of how TalkTalk TV keeps getting better.”

Top shows from A+E Networks UK this autumn include: the UK premiere of the second series of top-rating drama Witches of East End on Lifetime; a new series of Pawn Stars UK on History; Emmy-nominated epic The World Wars on H2; and a brand new series of Crimes That Shook Britain on Crime + Investigation.

The A+E Networks UK portfolio will be available on TalkTalk TV and on TalkTalk’s catch-up service soon after the launch of the linear channels, with On-Demand slated to launch later in 2014.
