Verimatrix has appointed Mike Kleiman as COO of the company, a position that was created to support its rapid growth.
He joins Verimatrix from Verizon Digital Media Services, where he served as COO of the New Products Division.
Verizon acquired EdgeCast Networks, of which Kleiman served as both COO and CFO. He also played an important role in integrating the two companies and leading the expansion of Verizon’s global CDN infrastructure in the US, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America markets.
Prior to that, he helped develop and lead several internet and growth companies, serving as CEO of Strive International, president of SolutionPro, Inc., CFO/general manager of HostPro, Inc. (a division of Micron PC/Interland), CFO/CIO of the Calibri Group, Inc., and VP of finance/operations of the Scott Sports Group, LLC.
