A+E Networks Germany has appointed Nicola Fritz as the new head of marketing at pay-TV channels History and The Biography Channel (to be replaced by A&E).
The 33-year old will create and head all marketing activities in the online and offline world for the two thematic channels. Currently she’s mainly involved in setting up the marketing campaign for the new reality, documentary and entertainment channel A&E.
A&E will launch under the slogan Be Original on September 22, 2014 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on all relevant platforms via cable, satellite, IPTV and mobile TV.
Nicola Fritz who previously worked in the marketing team of RTL’s recently closed down social media subsidiary werkenntwen replaces Michaela Brenner who takes up new a new challenge outside the media industry.
