Russia’s leading broadcaster Channel One is to start distributing video content on the web.
Several local sources say it will place news content on the Lenta.ru and Gazeta.ru sites, while the movies it produces will be carried by Afisha-Seriali and sporting events on Championat.com.
They add that the first part of the distribution will start in August.
Lenta.ru and Gazeta.ru are both part of the Rambler&Co holding.
