German pay-TV sports channel sportdigital will add Belgium’s first-division football league to its schedule and report live from the Jupiler League from the 2014/15 season.
Kick-off is on July 20, 2014: sportdigital will transmit the Supercup match between current champion RSC Anderlecht and cup winner KSC Lokeren OV live.
“The rights acquisition of the Jupiler League is the first new element in sportdigital’s football line-up in the 2014/15 season,” managing director Gisbert Wundram said in Hamburg. “I can already say that we’ll be able to offer our viewers an attractive package with many top-class international leagues in the forthcoming season.”
