The new Swiss commercial broadcaster TV24 will expand its schedule by live sports coverage.
Kick-off is on July 15, 2014 with Spitzen Leichtathletik Luzern, Switzerland’s third-largest athletics competition, which TV24 will transmit live from 19.25 to 22.00 CET as the host broadcaster.
On August 9 and 10 TV24 will cover the international beach volleyball tournament Beachmania in Biel. In the competition which is part of the CEV Beach Volleyball European Championship Series the best European teams compete against each other.
TV24 launched on May 12, 2014. The channel which offers a general interest service with news, series, movies, sports, documentaries and reportages can be received in Switzerland on cable, IPTV and internet TV platforms.
TV24 is operated by Swiss media company AZ Medien which also runs local channels TeleZüri, Tele M1 und TeleBärn.
