The Polish national commercial broadcaster Telewizja Polsat is to launch a new music channel named Muzo.tv this summer.
According to Wirtualne Media, Muzo.tv’s name sounds similar to Cyfrowy Polsat’s app Muzo, which gives customers access to music over the internet.
It adds that the channel, whose working title had been P-Music, will be on air for 12 hours daily and offer a mix of pop and rock music, with 34% of its output being in Polish.
It will target viewers aged 12+ and be initially distributed by Cyfrowy Polsat, with other platforms set to follow.
Muzo.tv will be Telewizja Polsat’s second music channel, with its first – Disco Polo Music – having launched at the beginning of this month.
