Orange Polska has now seen little if any growth in its TV customer base for over a year.
The latest results published by the company show that the figure stood at 708,000 at the end of Q1, compared with 707,000 three months earlier and 699,000 in the corresponding period in 2013.
In Q4 2012, the total stood at 706,000. The DTH subscriber total stood at 585,000 at the end of Q1 this year, compared to 586,000 three months earlier and 582,000 in the same period in 2013.
IPTV subscribers meanwhile numbered 123,000 (121,000 and 117,000 respectively).
On a more positive note, Orange Polska’s triple-play customer total continues to grow, reaching 364,000 at the end of Q1, up from 286,000 a year earlier.
Although group revenues in Q1 were, at PLN2,995 million (€714.2 million), 7.9% down on a year earlier, net income increased by 243% to PLN271 million over the same period.
