BBC Worldwide chief executive Tim Davie is to rejoin the BBC board with immediate effect. He replaces human resources boss Lucy Adams, who is leaving the BBC.
This means the total number of Executive Director’s on the board will remain at seven alongside six Non-Executive Directors.
Tony Hall, Director-General of the BBC, says: “Tim already regularly attends Executive Board and brings his insight and commercial knowledge to our discussions. By formalising this role we’ll ensure that we continue to benefit from his experience and global perspective.”
Tim Davie says: “I’m looking forward to continuing to work with Tony and the team on the BBC’s Executive Board. I believe we’ve got a strong team of Executive and Non-Executive Directors who will help ensure licence fee payers are well served.”
