Multimedia Polska adds channels

January 27, 2014 07.33 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Multimedia PolskaThe Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska has added three more channels to its offer.

TVP Sport HD has been placed in its MaxBox and Sport HD Extra and will shortly offer coverage of the Sochi Winter Olympics and – later in the year – World Cup in Brazil.

The entertainment-based TVP Rozrywka is meanwhile being offered in the SuperBox and MaxBox packages and AXN Spin in MaxBox and Filmy i Seriale (‘Films and Series’).

Multimedia Polska had 309,000 digital TV subscribers as of the end of Q3 last year and vies with Vectra for the position of second largest cable operator in Poland after UPC Polska, the market leader.
