As a result, CBS Drama, CBS Reality and CBS Action are now available to an additional million subscribers and the movie channel CBS Europa is being made available for the first time.
Commenting on the deal, Louise Cottrell, VP affiliate sales for Chello Zone, said: “I am delighted that we are extending our carriage offering in the Polish market. Since launching in December 2012, the CBS Chello Zone EMEA Channels have expanded throughout Europe, along with two new feeds of CBS Action and CBS Drama across Africa. Now, including the nc+ carriage in Poland, more than 11 million additional subscribers can access a CBS Chello Zone Channel in EMEA.”
Nc+ has formed by the merger of n and Cyfra+ in March 2013 and is currently the second largest DTH platform in Poland after Cyfrowy Polsat.
