The Czech national transmission company Radiokomunikace is attempting to buy the infrastructure of the m
obile operators T-Mobile, O2 and Vodafone.
Quoting Michal Cupa, the company’s CEO, E15 reports that it has already placed offers on the table for the infrastructure.
Talks between the various parties are understood to have got under way a few months ago but were suspended due to an auction for LTE frequencies.
Should any deal be finalised, it could dwarf the recent sale of a 65.9% stake in the Czech incumbent Telefónica O2 to PPF Group from around $3.4 billion (€2.5 billion).
