Virgin Media has agreed terms with Premier Sports in time for kick-off in the Rugby League World Cup.
The channel, much-requested by sports fans that subscribe to the cablenet, will be free of charge for the remainder of the year. It is the only place where all 28 World Cup games are available.
In addition to its transmission on the cable service itself, Premier Sports will also be available Virgin TV Anywhere for mobiles, tablets and online.

In addition to its coverage of the Rugby League World Cup, Premier Sports covers over 1,000 live events each year including live and exclusive coverage from the NHL, NRL, NASCAR Sprint Cup, GAA and much more.
