The air traffic controllers strike on Thursday, October 10, that might have impacted travel from this year’s MIPCOM, has been called off.
The air traffic controllers union in Europe (ATCEUC) has called off the strike after the European Commission signalled its willingness to renegotiate plans to liberalise civil airspace.
The union made the announcement after a two-day meeting in Malta.
The strike, which was planned for Thursday October 10, would have disrupted air travel across Europe and affected people returning home from MIPCOM.
