Pressure is growing on Ukrainian cable operators to stop rebroadcasting Russian TV channels with which they do not have distribution agreements.
Kommersant reports that Media Group Ukraine (MGU) has added its voice to the calls and threatened legal action against violators.
The channels in question include TNT, CTC, Ren TV, Channel One, Rossiya 1, Rossiya 2, NTV+ Futbol and NTV+ Futbol 2.
MGU holds a number of rights and in July acquired exclusive ones to content from he studios Comedy Club Production, along with Champions League and Europa League, jointly with NTV-Plus.
The Ukrainian regulator says it cannot monitor all cable operators in the country.
It only issues fines after three warnings and only in very rare circumstances withdraws licences.
