The German Commission for authorization and supervision (ZAK) has issued the green light for three new channels.
Broadcaster Sportdigital TV has obtained a 10-year licence for its planned sports channel Sportamerica HD. The licence is subject to a further media concentration law test.

Swiss music channel Joiz has received a limited seven-year license obtained, which must also be tested for their compatibility market.
The third licence was issued to Sport1, who plans to launch a radio station Sport1.FM.
