Cable Congress 2014 will be held in Amsterdam, Broadband TV News has learnt.
The annual meeting of trade body Cable Europe will take place at the Amsterdam RAI, within the Elicium convention centre, between March 12 and 14.
There had been speculation that the popular event, held this year in London, might return to neighbouring Brussels with a strong representation also being made by Poland.
Cable Congress last visited Amsterdam in 2007, when the venue was the five star Hotel Okura.
Some 50 international conferences and 70 trade shows are held at the RAI annually including September’s International Broadcast Congress (IBC). The RAI was also home to the 1970 Eurovision Song Contest.
