The Dutch version of Horse & Country TV will launch on the Ziggo network on June 1 as part of the TV Extra bouquet. In addition, the channel will also be part of UPC’s basic analogue tier in the Southern of part of the province Zuid-Holland, around the city of Rotterdam reaching 209,000 homes.
On June 1, Ziggo is also adding Dutch-based jazz channel Djazz.tv, also as part of the extended digital tier, TV Extra.
Starting on June 19, Switzerland’s UPC cablecom will start to carry the RTL, RTL II, Vox and Super RTL channels in HD in German-speaking Switzerland. This will bring the total number of HD channels on the net to 48.
German music channel Deluxe Music has signed a carriage agreement with Kabel Deutschland for digital distribution. The broadcaster was recently bought by the Highview Group.
