The troubled new Polish DTH platform nc+ has intensified its efforts to cooperate with the country’s cable industry.
According to the platform, it has held high-level talks in the last few days with the Polish Chamber of Electronic Communication (PIKE).
In them, it once again highlighted the general principle of equal treatment of nc+ and cable subscribers.
Furthermore, Julien Verley, the president of nc+, confirmed that the details of the offer for nc+ customers is also directed at viewers who receive Canal+ and are cable subscribers.
Specifically, they now have until the end of their current contracts to decide which packages to opt for, and existing Canal+ subscribers, when renewing their contracts, will have access to all T-Mobile Ekstraklasa (Polish premier league football) matches through their cable provider.
PIKE represents nearly 4 million cable subscribers and both its president Jerzy Straszewski and Julien Verley have expressed their desire to work together and on behalf of those subscribers.
Formed by the merger of Cyfra+ and n, nc+ was officially launched on March 21
