There could be a delay in the construction of the second DTT multiplex in Russia.
According to AKTR and Comnews, the tender for a system integrator, which should have been concluded on March 1, has been put back, with mobile companies now being allowed to take part in the competition.
MTS has been mentioned as a possible participant in the tender but has so far denied that it plans to take part.
Significantly, no fewer than 15 different contractors are undertaking the construction of Russia’s first multiplex. A tender for the channels to be carried by the second multiplex has already taken place.
