Dutch DTH platform Canal Digitaal has become the first operator in the Netherlands to offer the Sport1 Go TV everywhere app to its subscribers. With the internet and mobile subscription to Sport1 the channels can be viewed anywhere in the country on PC, Mac, laptop, iPad and iPhone.
The Sport1 Go subscription gives access to 24 hours of the six Sport1 premium sports channels. It is included for all subscribers to Canal Digitaal’s Top HD-package or any Film1/Sport1 subscription.
Sport1 Go offers subscribers access to live games, reports and documentaries as well as the possibility to catch up on games within a 24 hour window.
With picture in picture it will be possible to watch two Sport1 channels simultaneously. There is also access to the content of the catch-up TV service Sport1 Gemist and the Sport1 Match Centre offers breaking news and notifications about live events.
Following the launch for Canal Digitaal subscribers, the service will be made available to customers of other platforms that carry Sport1, such as UPC, Ziggo and KPN.
