German operator Kabel Deutschland is adding eight new HD channels as part of its extended cooperation with Sky.
With the addition of Sky Atlantic HD, Sky Sport News HD, Fox HD, TNT Serie HD, Sky Hits HD, Nat Geo Wild HD, Sky Sport HD Extra and Disney Channel HD the cable now distributes 15 Sky HD channels.
This includes Sky Atlantic HD, the German ‘home of HBO’. The eight new HD channels will ben made available at no additional cost to the relevant Sky Paket and Sky HD subscribers.
The new agreement also calls for a more intensive marketing cooperation between the two parties.
