On Saturday, December 1, Sky Deutschland will record the Bundesliga top match between FC Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in 4K Ultra HD.
Sky said it is recording the match in 4K “to underline its position as an innovation leader in the TV and entertainment area in Germany and Austria.”
“Ultra HD is incredibly exciting for us and even more exciting for our customers,” said Brian Sullivan, CEO of Sky Germany.
“Currently Ultra HD is still a thing for the future, but at this early stage, the first experiences are already amazing. The test this Saturday is only the first of many more steps.
“We foster development in order to be the front-runners in the next TV revolution and to offer our customers the best possible entertainment experience.”
