The Polish public broadcaster TVP is stepping up its activities in the HbbTV space.
According to Wirtualne Media, it plans to introduce a hub in the first half of December, giving access to all current and future apps produced by TVP.
The latter include ones for TVP Sport and some leading information programmes, which are likely to be released by the end of January 2013.
In addition, TVP plans to begin offering DTT viewers on demand services in early 2013.
TVP has pioneered the introduction of HbbTV into Poland, very much like its counterpart Ceske Televize in the neighbouring Czech Republic.
It started its activities ahead of Euro 2012 and has since launched several more HbbTV apps.
