The interactive TV service platform provider Beenius has inked an agreement with BH Telecom, the leading provider of telco services in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Worth nearly €3 million, it will see the Slovenian company supply an OTT delivery platform and an extension of the existing IPTV and VoIP system in one of the first such deployments in the CEE region.
Commenting on the deal, Nedzas Residbegovic, general manager at BH Telecom, said: “The new OTT distribution system based on Beesmart will provide new advanced TV services to our subscribers and offer the TV experience at anytime and anywhere through their smartphones, tablets and laptop devices. Services will also be available for users of other networks in and outside BiH”. Beenius has worked with BH Telecom since 2009 and hitherto catered to over 100,000 IPTV users through the incumbent Bosnian telco.
