Eurochannel has chosen Eutelsat 16A to support the new phase of its pan-European expansion, which got under way at the beginning of this month.
Thanks to a five-year agreement with Eutelsat, the channel, which is dedicated to European films and series, will be able to launch a number of new language versions.
The first of these is Serbian and is already being offered by Telekom Srbija, the country’s incumbent telco.
Eurochannel is already broadcast to 30 countries around the world and is actively developing its distribution in Europe, having started with France, Portugal and now Serbia.
