Romania’s leading cable and DTH operator RCS&RDS has revealed that it plans to add two new proprietary channels to its portfolio this autumn.
Speaking to Mediafax, the company said that they would be called Digi World and Digi Life, with the former focusing on biodiversity, science, technology, travel and history and latter lifestyle.
Both will be carried exclusively on RCS&RDS’ network and join a growing list of proprietary channels that also includes news-based Digi 24 HD, Digi Film, Digi Sport and Digi TV Info, along with a number of services, among them Music Channel and H!T Music Channel, in which the company also has an interest.
RCS&RDS has around 3 million subscribers to its pay-TV services in Romania and also has broadcast interests in several other CEE countries.
