Sky D has decided to run just a single live football game in 3D per month. The first 3D coverage is planned for Sunday, August 25 of the game between Frankfurt and Bayern Leverkusen.
Sport1 Voetbal will also be carried by the DTH platform Canal Digitaal. The HD version of the premium football channel will be available on UPC, with Ziggo planning to launch the HD version at a later date.
RTL Nederland is launching a third digital channel, RTL Telekids. The 24/7 channel will initially launch on Ziggo on Septmber 3. Until now, RTL Telekids has been a branded block of kids programming on RTL8.
