The number of VOD videostreams enjoyed by UPC Austria customers increased by 390,000 in the first six months of 2012.
Around 1.7 million views were consumed by subscribers from the cablenet’s video on demand service, representing an increase of 30% on 2011.
Around 2,500 pieces of content are currently available on the two-year old service including 180 films in the HD format. A limited amount of 3D content is also available.
Customers rent the material for a period of 48 hours.
