The Czech public broadcaster Ceske Televize (CT) has launched a special HbbTV application for the Euro 2012 championship.
It comes alongside a special website (www.metotbal.cz) and the usual teletext services, including new forms if superteletext, and will give viewers access to live games – when two are being played at the same time they will both be recorded – video archives and commentaries.
CT launched its first HbbTV last week for the World Ice Hockey Championships, which will be held in Finland and Sweden.
Euro 2012, which is being co-hosted by Poland and Ukraine, starts this Friday, June 8.
